EARTHSHAKER FEST Organizers Decide Against Staging This Year's Event

The organizers of Germany's Earthshaker Fest, which is normally held in July in Kreuth, have decided against staging this year's event, due primarily to difficulties in securing exclusive appearances by headliner-level acts in an increasingly competitive European festival market.

Last year's Earthshaker Fest was held July 19-21, 2007 and featured performances by AFTER FOREVER, CRADLE OF FILTH, GAMMA RAY, KORPIKLAANI, KREATOR, MOTRHEAD, SEPULTURA, TESTAMENT, U.D.O., UNLEASHED, VADER and WITHIN TEMPTATION, among other acts.
